berlin lit is an international online journal for new poetry in English, published quarterly. It was founded by Matthew McDonald, an Australian musician living in Berlin. He is the principal double bassist of the Berliner Philharmoniker and professor of double bass at the Hochschule für Musik 'Hanns Eisler'.
